How to prepare for your blood draw
- Drink plenty of water beforehand — it makes the draw easier
- Ask whether your tests require fasting (usually 8–12 hours)
- Take your usual medications unless we tell you otherwise
- Wear a top with sleeves that roll up easily
- If needles make you anxious, tell us — we'll take it slow
